Juliette Wilson: Employee Spotlight

Today’s Employee Spotlight is on Juliette Wilson, one of our amazing quality control associates. Read our Q&A with her below. 

Where are you from? 

I was born in Illinois, lived for 30 years in Fort Collins, CO (“home”), then in St. Paul, and now Faribault, MN (“home 2”) since 2013. I love mountains and northern forests and lakes equally. 

How long have you worked at Synterex? 

One year. 

What is your favorite thing about the company?  

My dedicated and collegial professional colleagues. 

How did you end up in the world of medical writing? 

My extensive background in science writing and editing, as well as a lifelong interest in biology (and related -ologies) and medicine. 

What do you enjoy most about your job? 

Interesting content, interesting and talented people, flexibility, and the opportunity to help ensure that research is accurately reported. 

What accomplishment are you most proud of? 

Work: Having come a good way along the learning curve of the medical regulatory writing environment.  

Life: Hiking the Tanner Trail in the Grand Canyon up to the Little Colorado River and back, and raising two delightful and kind human beings (not at the same time).

What are some of the hobbies/interests you’re most passionate about? 

Birdwatching! Yoga, hiking, the infinite wonders of the natural world.
